Ian turns 11


Time just keeps flying by (surprise, surprise), and somehow our kids' birthdays keep rolling around faster than ever. Ian is the only one in our family to have a summer birthday, so he loves taking advantage of that and with our pool, it was easy to have a pool party to celebrate.

The forecast was showing an 80% chance of rain for that afternoon, but we kept praying and ended up being able to swim for almost the entire afternoon. It started raining for a bit, so we got out of the pool and the boys had ice cream and Ian opened up his gifts. Then they jumped back in as soon as the sun came out, and swam the rest of the afternoon away. So much fun . . .

So thankful for these fun kids Ian gets to call friends . . .
