Love: Joe & Amy {Wedding}

Even though we all knew what March weather can be like in Ohio, we were hoping for a calm (& maybe somewhat warm) day. Early in the week, Amy & I were messaging back and forth, as the forecast was showing freezing rain/snow on their day. They were hoping for outdoor portraits, so we kept an eye on the weather.

It was like God was smiling down on this sweet couple, because on their wedding day, the sun came out, and it was gorgeous. The temps were still on the cold side, but there was not a drop of moisture in the air, and they could not have asked for a more beautiful day to celebrate the love story God was writing for them . . .

Joe & Amy opted for a first glance at the location where we were doing portraits . . . we love it when couples choose to do this, as it is perfect for getting rid of those wedding day butterflies. Once a bride & groom see each other for the first time, they instantly relax, and we have so much more time to spend with them in front of the camera, capturing the biggest day of their lives.

He can bring out the biggest smiles on her face ❤️

At the end of the reception, Joe surprised Amy by singing a song to her . . .

The guests gave him a standing ovation.

Joe & Amy, thank you so much for letting us be a part of your big day. It was such an honor for us to capture just a small part of the bigger story God is writing in your lives. After hearing of your unexpected hospital stay on the honeymoon, we are so glad to hear of the healing He is doing and has already done in your lives, and that everyone is home again, safe and on the mend. May God pour out blessing after blessing as you begin this amazing journey of married life ❤️
