Love: Chris & Amy {Wedding}

I love it when a wedding takes us to a new venue, and Chris & Amy's could not have been more beautiful. Their big day took place at the Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens in Akron, and from the moment we arrived, we knew that it was going to be an amazing day. It was a smaller wedding, with a laid-back feel to the day.

Before long, Amy and the bridesmaids arrived, and we were able to do some of the bridal portraits before their outdoor ceremony started.

Amy carried this locket on her bouquet that had a photo of her mom in it . . .

Heading out for photos . . . we cannot say enough good things about the staff at Stan Hywet. They were always so willing to help in whatever way they could, and made the day go amazingly easy. With the intense heat, these golf carts/shuttles were a lifesaver!

We kept an eye on radar, and figured we had maybe 10-15 minutes before the skies dumped rain on us. We moved as quickly as possible, and were able to grab photos AND get into the reception hall before it started raining--PTL!
